Worry Poem by Richard Ikolo

Worry

Rating: 5.0

Steals your sleep and keeps you awake
Makes you feel your prayer is fake
Invites doubt to weaken your faith
Stinks as sweat and worse than filth
Offers you no good, but leaves you worse
He who worries is under a curse

Worry has become very rife
Take no thought for your life
What you shall eat or to drink
This is what many people think
But seek ye first the kingdom of God
And blessings come by obedience to His word.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Nothing can be achieved by worry. Worry leaves you worse than it met you.The knockout for worry is to resort to God through His word.I drew my inspiration from the Holy Bible (Matt.6: 25-33) in writing this poem. I give glory to God for this inspiration.
