Worth The Soul One Sells Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Worth The Soul One Sells

Fake and plastic.
Lifelike.
With touches of humanity.
Naturally duplicitous.
And a phonyness so incredible,
Who from coast to coast...
Would in public admit they could not love.
This is the kind of life to live,
That is envied throughout the Universe.
And the price to pay for it,
Is worth the soul one sells!
