I wonder—
If I waved to the stars,
Would they ever wave back?
Or simply shimmer,
Silent in their celestial track?

Yes, they twinkle—
Distant, yet close to the heart,
Scattering silver threads of hope,
Binding the sky and me as one part.

They cascade light,
Pouring soft beams through the cracks,
And even in the loneliest gloom,
Their glow shields what joy lacks.

Beyond night's veil they linger,
Sentries of time that gently guide,
Shining on my soul's quiet journey,
Where shadows and dreams coincide.

If I wave to the stars,
Perhaps they've already replied—
In each glint, each patient flicker,
Their light has always been my guide.

Since eternity, when God took—
A covenant from souls: Am I not your Lord?
