Would We Give Planet Earth Away?

Planet Earth is small compared to the universe,
We float around in, every day, there is so much,
To be found, and discover, on this planet, where we stay,
Many countries, have traveled to the moon, now looking at Mars,
Far, far, away. Never any talk of a worldwide plan,
What if planet Earth, was attacked one day?
Separating, the people, has been going on for years,
By, countries, states, cities, religion, race, the covid flu…,
The leaders are interested, in control, and greed,
They learned the best way, keeping the people apart, and living in fear.
So many groups, fighting, concentrating on the difference, between them,
Never communicating, comparing resources, What would happen if,
Our world, was under attack one day?
Would all the groups suddenly join together, to save our,
Home where we stay?
Or would everyone keep fighting, looting, killing each other,
Basically, giving planet Earth, to the attackers, to control,
Their way, as we do, the politicians, and dictators today?
