~would You? Could You? ~
Would you know me if you saw me?
Could you recognize my soul?
Would my voice trigger emotions?
Could you sense that was my goal?
If I walked up to your door
would you even know it's me?
How deeply do you know someone
.........just from their poetry?
Would you stare and look right through me?
Could you feel my pain inside?
Would you still enjoy my poetry?
Even if I couldn't hide?

Recognition comes in many forms Mary, I think I would know your poetry anywhere, you have a distinct way of writing - certainly from the soul. This does make one think though. Love Ernestine XXX
