Wrath Of God Poem by Luke Easter

Hurricanes Katrina and Rita cut a disastrous path,
They’re minor in comparison to the scale of God's Wrath,
It’s been over two thousand years since the virgin birth,
Thirty-three more years, as the divine blood of Jesus covered the earth.

No sci-fi movie could ever be horrible as the book of Revelations,
Mankind will never suffer so much following Satan’s temptations,
Don’t like the movie? Change the channel or take the DVD out,
God will not relent no matter how much you cry, plead and shout.

Don’t believe the devil, hell is not just a state of mind or being,
You will really feel all of the pain and suffering you are reading,
Eternal damnation is forever with no relief in sight,
An endless journey to a perilous flight.

Don’t be foolish thinking it’s till the last minute you can wait,
Only God's love is true while the devil’s is pure hate,
Satan will only be happy if it’s forever with him you’ll be,
This is where the saying comes “misery loves company.”

It’s a torment, hurt and suffering like you’ve never felt before,
Just as you think you can take it there will be even more,
Like the peace, love, joy and pleasure in the kingdom will end never,
Unmanageable unbearable pain will surely endure forever.

It’s sad yet true but life is not always fair,
However, just because it isn’t doesn’t mean you’ll end up there,
Sometimes people get prosperity for what seems like more than their share,
I can’t explain why bad things happen because God really does care.

Make all your steps meaningful not by sight but through faith,
Like an eagle not a sparrow in a storm believe and concentrate,
Always spread your wings and fly in a righteous path,
For you’ll always want to feel the Love of God, not His Wrath.

But, if you accept Christ as your savior and guide,
Jesus won’t let you down; He will stay by your side,
God will give you the words that you should say,
When you’re brought before Satan, don’t be dismayed.
