Write A Book Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Write A Book

History doesn’t repeat
Something shall remain absent
Love shall be replaced by hatred
The world is miserably led

We want more territories to be added
The fire across border is traded
Many die unsung and remain forgotten
Where is that fine heaven?

Not to remember Nazis of past
Not to remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki’s atom blast
Millions died in split seconds
World did no end

We didn’t win
The heart that had never seen
Such a holocaust
We speak of peace and smell dirt

We shall have new outlook
With flowers and write a book
That shall speak no more about humanity
We have missed an opportunity
