Writing A Poem Worth Reading Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Writing A Poem Worth Reading

For me,
Writing a rhyme
Takes little time,
Not that I don't
Give it much thought...
Most come straight
From my heart,
A few off the top of my head,
Some when I am up,
Some when in bed...
Thing is, I am now afraid
So many are read, not at all...
Seems my verses have
Begun to hide
From prying eyes
Trying to decide
Is it worth me clicking here
She has lost her touch, I fear...
Yet, I'll write another Senryu
Or Haiku
Or something special
Just for you.
