Are there places so scarred by deeds
That they have evil energy as their seed
Of battlefields or hateful things
Forever through time still rings
Violent deaths that have broken men
Those gallant foes in heroic deeds then
Written in blood on the broken ground
As these battles are re-fought grinding them down.

A Very unique and disturbing perspective on the legacy of war. - battlefields of the dead nourished by their spilled blood, only to yield a fresh crop of death and destruction harvested by future generations. It is the history of man and it is written in blood ......on broken ground. . a beauiful, very ugly poem.
