I will wait an unrestricted time
Wait though each night, alone
I will hold you close within my heart
Keeping thoughts alive and magical
I will wait to feel your warm touch
Your gentle kisses upon my soul
I will wait and yet never tire of waiting
To believe and to dream and hold on
To love, care and all believe
In that happily ever after
I will wait beyond my years and time
For you are the stars and boundless sky
The rolling oceans and majestic fields
The blossoming flower in early spring
I will wait for you and you alone
My love, my muse, my desire
I will wait for you and write your poem
