Wwii Vet Lawrence E. Shine Beaten To Death By 4 Blackteens

Terrance Morgan, Edward Johnson, Leslie Litt, Geblonski Murray,
Attacked Mr. Shine in his own driveway and it was over in a hurry,
4 teens,18 & 19 vs. a Veteran older than their ages added together,
Death from injuries sustained during a brutal mugging gone forever.

Seeking his wallet they pushed the smaller in stature to the ground,
That is before they battered him mercilessly & then he went down,
Greenville, Mississippi, he died October 20, two day after the attack,
And although Alleged is being used evidence declares this is a Fact.

Capital murder, robbery & conspiracy to commit a robbery, their crime,
“Tough but beautiful day… our final goodbye to our beloved Pa Shine, ”
Quotes from daughter-in-law Laura Cockrell Thornton, from the heart,
Manhunt, reward offered from local business leaders, doing their part

.Columbus Honor and Navy Honor Guards, “a beautiful blue sky day, ”
Fought in World War II,87 years of age at home his life taken away,
“Delicious meal we enjoyed together afterwards with family & friends, ”
While four individuals are held without bond, now the process begins.

Fireman 1st Class aboard the USS Hearld, a minesweeper he served,
Thugs only saw an easy target,4 to 1 odds, easy pickings, some nerve,
Jim's Cafe, his favorite haunt, tying a black ribbon to his regular chair,
And coffe mug, Herald inscription worn off, regulars honored him there.

In civilian life known as the, “Tamale King” he began cooking in 1984,
A Jerry-rigged recipe he got from a friend, he added just a little bit more,
The Award-winning Maria’s Famous Hot Tamales named after his wife,
Got the nickname, “Shine” in high school, exactly how he lived his life.

Sunny disposition stayed with him as he grew older, always giving his best,
Selling snacks out of his kitchen & playing the fiddle to entertain his guests,
A WWII Veteran Delbert Belton met his untimely end the same violent way,
Okay, can anyone shed light on the behavior of these homicidal teens today?
