Year After Year Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Year After Year

Year after year and time after time,
The stars seem to be unchanged in the skies;
And like the movement of a picture,
But i'm not matured enough for you my love?

The school of Athens came to teach us,
And of the many gods to behold at last;
But i'm i not wiser enough for you my love?

The famous bird came to me last night,
But you better open your eyes before it is too late;
For everything is open to me like the paintings on the walls.
