Yearning For My Angel - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Lying here on the couch resting
I lost track of time as I dreamed of you
and am yearning and longing to hear from you
and feel the touch of my Angel true.
I'm yearning because you're so special to me,
a true diamond in the rough,
a rare jewel.
I'm longing for you because you
are amazing and I truly love you.

Just lying here resting and felt so relaxed
from all the deep caring love you are sending,
I thank you sweet lady because I am so sleepy
and just need the rest for a little while.
You give me true peace and that is why I am yearning
to have you here where I can see my Angel everyday
and give you that sweet loving peace in return.
I love you sweet Kira you truly are my everything.

Lying here dreaming of you and my heart
longs and yearns in full for you,
just to talk and hold you.
Just to see your gorgeous heavenly smile,
just to feel safe with my sweet precious lady.
I yearn just because you are you
and that's what I truly love.
I love you Kira because you are you
and that's all I'll ever want and need.
