Yellow Star Poem by Jayne Doe

Yellow Star

Rating: 5.0

Made for shame
Worn with pride
This band on my arm is mine
Yellow star
Scream out loud
Who it is I know I am
Number me
Strip me down
Make me face a stone brick wall
Fire shots
Laugh it off
It's not me you're shooting at
Keep me round
Let me starve
Skinny, skinny I become
Voices whisper
Hands reach out
Screaming
Yelling
Fighting
Silence

Survival.

I would be interested on hearing your thoughts about that, if you are willing to share.
