Yes, Humans, And All Life Poem by Mohammad Younus

Yes, Humans, And All Life

Yes, humans and all life
Receive the divine touch,
A touch that births new life—
Myriad forms unfolding
Around me,
Each glowing softly
With every divine caress.

Yet my mind, still dark,
Wanders through the undergrowth
Of illusions and delusions—
A path of unparalleled destruction,
Leaving behind rich mines
Of luminescent diamonds,
But these treasures remain buried,
Hidden beneath the unaware soles
Of feet that tread in ignorance.
