Yesterday's Losers Poem by Francis Duggan

Yesterday's Losers

Yesterday's losers are resigned to their disappointment's fate
Whilst the happy winners does celebrate
But everything passes and only memories does last
Of the happy and sad times when you remember the past
Yesterday's losers not smiling today
But disappointment in them in time will fade away
And time to the hair that does bring silver gray
Is also a healer only true to say
Yesterday's losers today are looking and feeling sad
Their disappointment on losing they are taking bad
But in the near future they will regain their smile
Disappointments in life fade after a while
Yesterdays losers looking and feeling sad today
But feelings of sadness in time fade away.
