yesterday's cascade into todays
no turn off switch they tumble into place
the cause, a word, a scene no explanation given
avalanche covering, defences smashed down
there is no pause no turning back
they land unannounced with a smack
remember this remember that
slow down no chance to stop for a glance
speeding up scenes in a blur
who are you too late to answer?
come back and chat I need answers
giddiness takes over all a blur
steady as she goes where to from here
slowing down no time to frown
concentrate, take control be aware
another day another challenge
deep breaths taken, control needed
I awake as tired as when I fell asleep
Who is charge of all these thoughts?
Do I announce my presence to today?
Should I quietly slip away?
The uninterrupted train of thoughts crossing over from yesterday to today in one's mind creates a lot of confusions and restlessness. A wonderful and innovative theme s also the poetic expression.a Thanks for sharing.10 points.

This insightful poem shows us the cascade of thoughts that never slow down. Brilliantly executed, dear John.
Thank you for your kind comments, Jane Campion. Long live comments, without them we will never understand what other poets think of our poems.
