Yet, I Am Not Your's

I am not yours to claim, nor am I entranced,
Yet I crave to be immersed in your loving grace,
Like a candle in daylight, or a snowflake in a trance,
Melting away, leaving no trace.
You adore me, and I recognize your shine,
A spirit of beauty and light,
But I am me, searching for a way to combine,
Merging into one, out of sight.
So engulf me with love, let me be consumed,
With senses numb, deaf and blind,
Whirled away by the storm of your passion,
A flicker in a gust of wind.
