You And I... - Poem by stuti sharma

The world opens its arms to you, then why do you shirk away?
The happiness and joy that is all around, might just be for today
Making the most out of life is an art, which i think you know a little
Why do you forget that life is transcient and moreover very brittle?

You have to gather all that you can, in these very few days
But one thing i can assure you of, is that there are a million ways.
One such way is the path of friendship, and I am walikng by your side
Don't ever be upset by thinking, that we don't match your disciplined stride.

There ARE differences in the way we think, but the feelings for you are true
I value eacha nd everyone around me, and one such friend is you
Never feel that you are alone, eve if aia am not preset
You always live in my heart and thoughts, and that makes my life pleasant.
