You Are Gone Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

You Are Gone

Rating: 5.0

The moon turns pale
You are gone like a
Whiff of wind
In the wilderness of
A grove by the stream
You left sweet memories behind

You are no more a
Living statue with
Beautiful skin
You have turned into
Ashes of wood and your
Charming smile will not be seen

You have gone to
An unknown land
With love and peace
What remains is a
Serene face of you
With a half smile fixed on
The wall without any love or wish

No words are adequate to express the beauty of this poem arising out of deep love but subdued by deep melancholy following a tragic turn of events. This is a real masterpiece. Thanks for sharing it, Anil ji. It goes into MyPoemList.
