The groaning of a mortally wounded man! !
But the waters made it grow,
As the the waters grew up;
Of a great stature whose top was above the thickest boughs,
And like the Beautiful Branches that shaded the forest.
Bound it up for Healing! !
Because the Underground Waters made it grow out,
But, in beauty i do compare this act to your sweet love;
The depths of your true love!
You are the one needed to heal this man,
With the muse of the Sun shining over the waters!
Reflected images with the romance of nature.
The groaning of a mortally wounded man! !
As hard as stone and, red as blood;
With the fragrance of life!
As black as coal and, white as snow;
But, you are the one needed to heal this man.
'The groaning of a mortally wounded man! ' - Yes the readers can hear the groaning as they read the poem. As they come to the last line-'But, you are the one needed to heal this man.' - they wonder if the wounded man got the soft touch of the person sought for. A truly touching poem.
