You Ask? Poem by Lynn W. Petty

You Ask?

You ask how deep does my love lie for you.
There is no human measurement to test.
An inch, a foot, a yard, a mile? It grew
To depths, to heights, too vast to be assessed.

oh, good, a short one. it is getting late. i'm a bad boy for not being asleep already! ! but the cat is away! yes, short and VERY SWEET! ! ! pass the vinegar and salt, please. just teasing you. if only i'd known how much you care for me! i would have saved myself for YOU! ok, ok, OK! ! more teasing; i admit it. to MyPoemList. and it would be a big hit with some of the showcase readers. MAY I USE IT, please? bri :) NOW I SEE MY previous comment! ha ha.
