You Ask Me Is It Poetry Or What Poem by Francis Duggan

In every would be poet a poetaster you will find
You ask me is it poetry or what on that make up your own mind
I am just an ordinary fellow who has penned a lot of stuff
For many years and Seasons I have been a rhyming buff
But who is or is not a poet is not for me to say
Since I'm not one to judge others it has never been my way
I am not a judge of others I only love to write
Already enough of judgemental people on every literary site
In the big literary World I never will be known
But I do love the truth in the old saying of to each their own
And as long as others do not ridicule me what they think or say of me is fine
For that is surely their own business and their business cannot be mine
And since you ask me is it poetry or what to you I must reply
That tags on people as we know are not hard to apply.
