You Called Poem by Annie Juliet

You Called

Rating: 5.0

Oh wow - you called
When I saw my mobile flash in silent mode
When I saw it was your name on the display
I was in the middle of my crummy day at work

My heart pumped fast
My eyes popped up
My senses came back to life
My blood rushed through every possible channel
My brain operated remarkably to reason

Is it you who is calling? Is that really you?
Am I sure I want to pick this up?
What are you going to ask me?
Did I slip an important work that was expected of me?
Did I do something wrong?
Did I oversight something and you are going to ask about that?
Did you get time to think of me in center of your tight scheduled day?
Maybe you have something to tell me?

It has been some time since you called me to ask how I am
You never have time to think of me once you into your daily schedule
I picked - you said - "I thought of you"
Oh my - I am still there and will be there always -to be near forever
I love you and will love you - to be near forever
I will wait for you and keep waiting for this call again -to be near forever

Love
Annie
