You are not forever lost.
You can reclaim yourself,
Trust that the Gracious God is there
To guide you in every step.
There's always something great to gain,
You can find a way to break free.

You're always in the sight of Gracious God,
With you through thick and thin.
Why let hopelessness consume you
When darkness closes in?
Why let frustration rule your heart?
Why think you can't escape
The mess within your troubled mind?

Are the mind's frivolous games
In your best interest?
Why stay trapped, playing
The vicious, worldly games?
Why can't you break free from the mind's hold?
You can skillfully steer clear of its web.

There's nothing so formidable
That you can't surmount.
Living with a forward view
Is the only way
To mend yourself in every way.

I'm sure you won't stay cut off
From your essence.
Rise and embark on the journey
To find your true self.
Keep running until you're far away
From the darkest realm of your nafs.

Why can't you fly away?
Why can't you change?
