You Can Have It Your Way Poem by Thomas Henk

Sometimes to see a dream,
We only need to close our eyes.
While other times it comes clean,
Only to those that are smart and wise.

Sometimes for special reasons,
Things have to go the other way.
So instead of hoping for what isn't,
We'd better accept what's in today.

We were all built and designed
With Talents, gifts and ideas
Though some of us have seen the sign
There's need for faith, passion and courage to dare.

The crown isn't one man's head to fit
It is only a long walk to the throne
If only we can stay up on our feet
Then we can turn mountains to little stones.
