You Can't Look At The Sun Poem by Mohammad Younus

You Can't Look At The Sun

You can't look at the sun directly—
But in a silent pond,
A pristine mirror of water
Holds its brilliance tenderly.
It reflects the sky, in perfect stillness,
A haven for the weary soul,
A soothing sight in the still of heart.

In that silent pond,
I gaze upon the softened sun
And find a peace profound.
The shimmering calm reminds me
Of life's essence, pure and clear.
A gentle whisper calls:
Release the mask of falsehood,
Let the true self glow—
As radiant as the sun above,
Yet as tranquil as its mirrored light.
