You (Gazal) Poem by Sathya Narayana

You (Gazal)

The darkness comes, prevails and veils
only till then thee come as dream to peel!

Thy hues at night I gather, pool
and wait till day to make the flowers fool!

Thy whispers blue I save for Sun
to make Him blush and feel a tickling fun!

The notes of thy seductive songs
on lips my etch to warbles teach new twangs!

Be there a day, I wonder why
when thou're my dream of night, be truth or lie!
