You Give What You Have Poem by Jasbir Singh

You Give What You Have

You convinced me with your words but you deceived me with your actions,
O mortal, can I ever trust you?
You broke my heart and left me alone in the lonely mansion.
I hate, what you did but trust me: I still love you,
It was easy for you to behave this way but I'm not like you.
Let God be our judge and deal with us fairly,
If you ever need my help I will help you surely.
You may not be worthy of respect but I'll not look down on you,
'You give what you have, ' they say so, I'll give my love to you.
