You Keep Me Alive Poem by Saleh Mousuf

You Keep Me Alive

Rating: 5.0

The days of the past still sweetly fresh
in my mind
recall the moments of stunning glimpse
of you, and when I went complete blind.

Bumblebee was buzzing around the buds
flowers to explode
wavy hair was floating in the air touching your
cheeks and nose.

Died a thousand deaths in your eyes
at the first sight
lost in your alluring beauty and at a stroke
I was alight.

Recall the day we met, the rays of the sun
sparkled in my heart
you captivated my young singing soul
that never depart.

Love grew in me like a little plant, and
I began to feel life
swimming in my thoughts day and night
you keep me alive.
