You Know When It's Gone Poem by Ray Hansell

You Know When It's Gone

Rating: 5.0

Another lonely day
Sitting here alone
You know an empty house
Isn't really a home

No one here to talk with
No one to share a thought
I felt that it was love
That I finally had caught

But somehow I lost it
As it slipped through my hands
There are some things in life
I will never understand

Love can be so complex
Yet, at times so very simple
But you know that it's gone
When her eye's lose that twinkle

No one is here but love talks with life and beauty of mind. This is a very nice poem shared.
