You May Be Able To
Eyes speak when you are not weak
Eyes excel when you do very well
Eyes do everything when you are in love
They silently observe and believe
Heart is full of action
But can not express with wordy reaction
It has no means to hide
Mind and heart think alike and divide
Eyes confide and say “no”
Let lover think and know
Take action needed to assure
Love is for sure
It may not speak
But lower the guard and stick
To old position of no surrender
Till you say yes and patiently hear
What have I given to you?
Not only lovely body but soul too
You prove now without asking
When you claim me and are staking?
I shall still not speak
I shall help silence to break
I shall lower my eye lid
