You - Ology Poem by James Darwin Smith II

You - Ology

Though I feel
Galaxies away
From your existence
I still feel the magic
That comes from
The all-around beauty
That comes from you

The smile
Those wondering peeks
That feisty angst
I admire
All of everything
About you

The mystery, the suspense
A future adventure too
I love...
Diving into the endless possibilities
A prospecting future with you

May you only see this soul, first?
Then feel this heart sing for you?

Living so many galaxies away
I am too alien for many
Am I too alien for you?

All is but a paradox
Yet, who will take it all in?
I dedicate these words
To a silhouette out in the furthest reaches

Is that silhouette you?

So what is a poet to do?
But dream

When these stanzas meet
With your beauty

As we create an epic poem
Together

I always feel inspired
By the magical musing
That has always came

From you
