You Once Cared Poem by Randy McClave

You Once Cared

You once truly cared about me
But, now you don't,
You use to worry about me
But, now you won't.
Since there is no money left for me to give,
You now don't care, if I do or don't live.

You once came and visited me
All of the time,
You even called and texted me
When I wrote a rhyme.
But, now for me you do not care,
Only wealth I have left to give you, is a prayer.

You were once my very best friend
But, now you are not,
You were then my only true friend
The one that I had forever sought.
But, now I hear from you sadly no more,
I nothing left so you're no longing knocking at my door.

You once needed and pleaded for my help
I was then at your side,
You now don't come over for my help
You have ran off somewhere to hide.
Now whenever you need my help, or support or a buck,
All that I will now say to you is, "GOOD LUCK"!
