You raise my soul to greater things
In our presence I soar high with eagles
Above mountains high seeing beauty everywhere
Knowing the best the soul can achieve.
You are my strength and rock within stormy seas
Navigator to better times, light showing the way
Supporter, comforter, who daily inspires
Lord Jesus, benefactor of my faith and compassion.
Because of you I am strong with truth and purpose
My Muse composes enthused with your love.
You are my greatest blessing and salvation
And without you I would falter and stumble
Prey to the engulfing darkness of indifference
Forever lost without the path leading to Heaven.
