You're Going To Have Some Questions
You're going to have some questions
It's an inevitability
Why am I here? ...where am I going
What's this thought of eternity?
So many funeral processions
There's always a line up for death
We know them in their aliveness
Then the reality of their final breath
But praise God for the sign posts
That are revealed in His Word
Through Jesus Christ the most alivest
Whose name is still constantly heard
And reverent in the manner
Of His earthly conversation
His main goal our recipiency
Of His blest eternal Salvation
Who brought sin to exposure
From the darkness into the light
Along with the full disclosure of
Of our eternal impending plight
Think you're just a body
To disintegrate into dust
And rot forever in the ground
God has better plans for us
Think of the word Resurrection
Is there anyone you can attach that name too
Then place your thoughts higher my friend
For there's a Heaven awaiting for you
Think of a Book called the Bible
Have you checked out the treasures found there
It's famed Author and Finisher of faith
Is the One to you whom I declare
I know my Redeemer lives...He lives!
He lives inside me each day
His Spirit sealing my Resurrection hope
When death comes visiting me
For from the Cross of Calvary
To a tomb where my Saviour was laid
I placed my faith in that Resurrection story
When Christ Himself rose from the grave
Cloth yourself with His cloak of love
And wrap your heart around Him
Be caught up with His merciful ways
Feel His grace surrounding
There's life in a look at the Crucified one
No matter your sins greatest folly
He stands willing and ready to forgive
His promises are never hollow
Hallelujah what a Saviour!

I wish, when the time comes, I will be with my Dad. I am hoping in His kingdom of Heaven. I miss him every time I read your poems
