You love us both? can't have us both.
It's tearing you apart!
Your former girl and present girl:
Both have got your heart.

You have to choose, so you must lose
Someone you really love.
It feels like dirt that you must hurt
A girl that you dream of.

Why this must be you cannot see;
You only know You must.
Each might endure, for you are sure
That this is love, not lust.

You weep and wail to no avail;
You can't say no to either.
But if you can't tell what you want,
Could that mean you want neither?
