You'Re Naturally Good If You Know It Poem by Uriah Hamilton

You'Re Naturally Good If You Know It

Why not just have a kind heart?
There is nothing to gain in meanness,
There is no salvation in alienating yourself from love,
Hate will only buy you a heart attack or an ulcer,
Anxiety will only make your hair gray,
Stepping on other people's souls
Will merely give you an unpleasant face
And hasten old age and the grave.
