[you'Re Nothing] Poem by Frozen Beauty

[you'Re Nothing]

Rating: 4.8

resisting my roots,
ignoring my flaws;
who are you to be
invading my thoughts.

revealing my secrets,
increasing my fears;
who are you to be
touching my ears.

watching my habbits,
intruding my space;
who are you to be
kissing my face.

reversing my words,
holding my knife;
who are you to be
threatening my life.

perversing my mind,
creating my hate;
who are you to be
screaming my name.

scarring my insides,
haunting my dreams;
who are you to be
nothing it seems.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Intriguing, each stanza almost has its own meaning, but they build together to something sinister and raise the question of who, what, or is it the person's own doubts and fears, I will probably need to return to this poem to gain more insight as I ponder it's words.

This to me seems as if someone had said something to you and the response was 'Who do you think you are'? but thats just the way I interpit it. It also has a second meaning to me, 'that words are just words.' They invaded you mind, they get into your dreams and they can be hurtful, like a slap in the face. Very intresting read and very well composed. I guess the real meaning is interpided by each reader. Very well done. 'Keep on inking the Pages' Poison
