I saw your face in the crowd,
I knew you were someone special.
Nothing seemed to be going my way,
But then there was you.

I saw the way you walked,
And I wanted to be in your hands,
I didn’t think I would meet anyone here,
But then there was you.

I saw your blank expression,
As if you felt the same as me.
I didn’t think anyone would.
But then there was you.

I never believed in soul mates,
Or in love at first sight.
I thought I would end up alone.
But then there was you.

You saved me.
