You Say I'M So Strong

you say i'm so strong,
so much braver than you.
but i laugh at those words
if you only knew.
i sacrificed you, yes,
but not out of bravery.
i gave you up so that
i didn't lose you.
i gave you up so that
she didn't win.
you couldn't choose her,
she got you by default
and i didn't have to be left,
because i did the leaving.
