My life was horribly boring and dull
In my dreams even the birds were gray
And hungry - and had nothing to say
I didn't know what it meant to be full
I ran my errands and felt busy every day
Blind to the emptiness of it all
Blind to my own desire for a fall
So I ran to keep the truth at bay
Until I ran too fast and luckily I fell
On a soft spot where you could come along
You spoke to something new, and strong
I have never felt like this, so well!
You gave me everything that I desire
And more: you set my heart on fire
