You've Changed Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

You've Changed

The sparkle in your eyes is no longer there
the smile upon your face leave me in despair
when you kiss me, I no longer feel a fire
When you touch me, I don't feel desired
You fix your lips to say 'I love you'
Those heartfelt words, you don't live up to
you've changed, each memory that we'd share
how strange, there's not an ounce that cares
I fell in love with someone
you're not that someone I thought I knew
Somethings got a hold of you
you've changed, Who would of thought we'd fall apart
guess nothing good lasts forever
You've broken every piece of what was once my heart
We've been through the stormy weather
tragically, we couldn't stay together
baby, you've changed
