'' You Want To Be Paired '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' You Want To Be Paired ''

What is a ghost?
Who is its host?
As some people live to deceive,
They see the most,
Is their everyday boast,
But who can you really believe.

To see what they see,
Believe you me,
There are few of them do it for fun,
To set spirits free,
They demand a fee,
Payments made before they've begun.

Cash being king,
Must have a ring,
To those in the afterlife beyond,
To life they cling,
They must like bling,
Money must make them respond?

Those who pay,
Don't have much say,
They only receive information,
To you they'll convey,
Only if you obey,
The charlatan's declaration.

The spirits are real,
They do touch and feel,
But only to those who are true,
They won't do a deal,
It doesn't appeal,
They desire contact with you.

Clear your mind,
Then you will find,
The secrets of beyond you'll unlock,
Don't ever be blind,
Spirits are inclined,
To respond if you're willing to talk.

Try this test,
Do give it your best,
Listen carefully ghosts can be heard,
Though technically at rest,
You will fill them with zest,
When they find,
