You are the moment
before
the ship & the iceberg
...meet.
The difference between
having it all &
having nothing at all.
Your love
the only thing
I ever wanted
to own
yet could never
possess
my thirst
of Tantalus
my Sisyphus’s stone
my paradox
of pleasure
my dichotomy
of pain
& what’s worse
I loved you
despite it.
