You Will Always Remember Poem by Randy McClave

You Will Always Remember

You won't remember my jokes and laughs
And how we walked together down those many paths,
And all our dinners and our every date
You won't remember, how seeing you I couldn't hardly wait.
You won't ever remember or recall my smile
And how I showed you a happy and a peaceful lifestyle,
You won't ever remember my burnt hand
And how I was always there to help you stand.
You won't ever remember me loving and caring
And how I was always there helping and giving and sharing,
Never to you did I ever say a bad word
And never was one from me ever spoken or heard.
You won't ever remember when I bragged on you
And how my feelings for you were always genuine and true,
And how I proudly bragged on you at my side
You won't remember that happiness and joy that I couldn't hide.
You won't ever remember me treating you and your family good
As every caring Christian man should,
And you won't ever remember me calling it quit
Because, I could or never would do it.
You won't ever remember me on my birthday
Or, the "I Love You", to me you once did say,
An when the days becomes months and the months becomes years
You will always remember one thing, my tears.
