You Will Hit The Tattered Clouds. Poem by Hannah York

You Will Hit The Tattered Clouds.

Rating: 5.0

You will hit the tattered clouds,
Thunder through the ruined storms,
Threadbare rain drops will run away,
But in the battered sky you'll stay.

You will chase the lightning bolts,
Expel the wrathful thunder,
Fragmented clouds will scatter rain,
But none will ever dull the pain.

You will perch upon the rainbow,
Settle atop a gleaming sunbeam,
Overwhelm the impending grey,
For in my heart you'll always stay.
