You wrote to me asking
If we could get together again
I'd like to say yes
But I have to tell you no
I don't want to revisit
Where we have already gone
A long time ago we vowed to move on
We're both in a much better place now
So, let's stay where we are
It was several years ago
When we wished upon a star
That star came crashing down
For we never got that far
Back then we didn't last
Let's just leave us in the past
