You'll Find Flowers In The Stone Poem by Mark Heathcote

You'll Find Flowers In The Stone

If you love me, you'll find flowers in the stone.
Flintstone it'll cut your heart into two.
Two equal parts, one for you and one for me too.
Sure, there's a campfire and church spire.
And a weather vane -looking and pointing at you.

Oh, what can I do?
If you love me, you'll find flowers in the stone.
And maybe enough fossil fuel for two
Flintstone It'll cut you to the bone.
But listening to your heart
I've joined the choir
And it's enough to stop me from feeling blue again.

Look here's an anvil and a blue flame.
Let the smithy man stoke some steel in the fire.
You can brand me yours.
And I'll give you my name.
Like these flowers in the stone
I'll love you to the bone.

Oh, what can I do?
If you love me, you'll find flowers in the stone.
Flintstone it'll cut your heart into two.
Two equal parts, one for you and one for me too.
If you love me, take my name.
It is written on this stone and written in this flame.
Through and through, just the same way I love you.
