Young Love Poem by Emma Woods

Young Love

She waits for his arrival her heart at rapid speed
She sits impatiantly so nervous so excited
She makes it clearly known her heart is made for him
And not by another heart would she ever be wandered
She sees him now he's here in the park where he had promised
Her heart is racing faster so glad and thrilled to see him
He sat himself beside her his arm around her back
She smiles in happiness so happy to be with him
They talk about their day and go on for a walk
She slides her hand in his as he gracefully walks at her side
They walk under the sun they laught together and talk
It's clear fro both of them there's no feelings to hide
She is almost fifteen and he's just seventeen
He's innocent and caring and she'd be lost without him
The girl is me and the boy clearly you my dear
You make me smile and daydream you let me know you're here
Thankyou
My love
